After back-to-back exhibition wins to kick off the year, Syracuse is finally ready to begin the 2024-25 college basketball regular season. Head coach Adrian Autry hopes he‘s pieced together a team that will end Syracuse’s three-season drought at the NCAA Tournament.
In Syracuse’s 96-51 blowout win over the DII Slippery Rock University, the Orange knocked down 15 triples and shot just under 47 percent from downtown. Chris Bell paced the Orange with 17 points, while Autry used the opportunity to tinker with starting lineups, rotations and combinations.
Le Moyne embarks on its second season at DI play against its close neighbors. The Orange historically dominate the Dolphins, and won 91-48 at their most recent clash in 2010. However, the Dolphins did once beat the Orange in an exhibition game way back in 2009.
